J&G Sales, Inc. was established in 1987 when Jim Godwin purchased his own Vibratory Hammer and opened for business by working out of the bed of his truck. Little did he know at the time that his initial step with LB Foster Company was just the beginning of more than 40 years of pile driving experience. It wasn't long before Jim had a yard of his own with growing rental inventory in Houston. In 2004, he moved the yard to its current location in Bellville, TX.

Jim brought in his wife, Terry, who managed the office with a great amount of professionalism and personable service. Together, with their "Whatever It Takes" attitude, they have surpassed many economic hurdles and have grown the business despite the difficult challenges. Jim and his wife Terry are now retired and have an incredible team of people that have been raised up for such a time as this. Their borders have only been enlarged as their son, Brian, and his wife, Lindsay, are passed the baton.
